Some of the best and most desirable Mosin Nagant variants are the Finnish examples. They generally have a better fit and finish compared to the Russians and are said to be more accurate, whether or not that’s true is up for testing.

The Finns used Arctic Birch for their stocks which can produce an almost fire-like pattern in the grain. The rifle in the photo has that effect on the upper handguard.
